e.t.d.® 150®

A versatile specialty steel product that offers superior strength and peak performance

When parts require higher levels of strength, e.t.d.® 150®, a registered trademark of Niagara Lasalle, is the smart choice. Through our proprietary "elevated temperature drawing" process, Niagara LaSalle has created a bar that eliminates heat treating and secondary operations. e.t.d.® 150® bars can be roll threaded, knurled and plated and are also suitable for induction hardening.

Produced from AISI medium carbon 4100 series alloy steel, heats for this product are controlled to contain nitrogen in quantities normally associated with steel that's produced by the electric furnace process. A single additive is added to improve overall machinability and it is electro-magnetically tested using induced eddy current.
